HSE Policy

Policy Statement:

Intesh Synergy Sdn Bhd is committed to conducting its business in a manner that ensures the health, safety, and welfare of its employees, contractors, and stakeholders while minimizing environmental impact. We strive to create an incident-free workplace through continual improvement, compliance with legal requirements, and implementation of best practices in safety and environmental management.

Core Principles:

Compliance: Adhere to all applicable Malaysian occupational safety and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA 1994, Environmental Quality Act 1974).
Risk Management: Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate control measures to prevent incidents and reduce occupational and environmental risks.
Training & Awareness: Ensure employees receive appropriate training on safety and environmental procedures and are aware of their responsibilities.
Continual Improvement: Regularly review and improve HSE performance, policies, and procedures to adapt to changing industry standards and emerging risks.

HSE Procedures

Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment

Conduct regular risk assessments for all operational activities.
Implement control measures such as elimination, substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Document and update risk assessments periodically.

Incident Reporting and Investigation

All incidents (injuries, near-misses, property damage) must be reported immediately.
Investigate incidents thoroughly and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain an incident log and ensure proper documentation

Safety Inspections and Audits

Conduct monthly safety inspections of all facilities.

Contractor Management

Ensure that contractors comply with Intesh Synergy’s HSE policy.
Perform regular safety audits of contractor activities.

Top Management

Ensure resources are allocated for HSE initiatives and that policies are enforced.
Provide leadership and demonstrate commitment to HSE principles.

HSE Manager:

Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of HSE policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with legislation and internal HSE standards.

Employees:

Comply with HSE policies and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
Participate in HSE training and drills

Contractors and Visitors

Follow the company’s HSE guidelines while on-site.
Ensure that their activities do not compromise the safety of others or the environment.

Performance Monitoring and Review

Intesh Synergy Sdn Bhd will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor HSE performance, such as:

Number of incidents and near-misses.
Compliance with waste management and environmental impact reduction targets.
Training completion rates.

Regular reviews of HSE performance will be conducted, and improvement plans will be developed to address any deficiencies.
